A successful Showcase

Combined Independents (Holdings) Ltd (CIH), part of Euronics, hosted the Euronics Showcase at the NEC Birmingham on 7-8 April after a three-year hiatus.

The two-day exhibition enabled CIH members to meet with suppliers to familiarise themselves with the latest products and services available, as well as be the first to see new, exclusive, product launches. A variety of Euronics exhibition stands provided CIH members the opportunity to benefit from social media support, to find out about the upcoming Euronics conference, as well as the new liveries available for their vehicles and stores.

CIH awarded Beko Plc UK and Ireland Best in Show for its exhibition stand, which included brand new appliances from Blomberg, the exclusive brand for Euronics agents. BSH Home Appliances received the Special Recognition award for its exhibition stand at the Euronics Showcase.

Steve Naylor, Channel Manager Independents at Beko Plc UK and Ireland, remarked: “We are delighted to have won the best stand award at the Euronics Show. The layout and design really helped us to deliver the messages we wanted for all of the new products we were showing across our three brands on show.”

Shaun English, BSH Independent Retail Director, commented: “It was fantastic to once again attend and exhibit at the CIH Euronics Showcase. It was a great opportunity to highlight our exciting products across Bosch, NEFF and Siemens on one stand and for the display to receive the Special Recognition award from CIH is testament to the hard work put in by the team to create the stand.”

Stuart Cook, CEO of CIH, added: “We are delighted with the support from both our suppliers and members that ensured a successful Showcase. Over 92 per cent of CIH members attended the 2019 Showcase, along with potential new CIH members looking to become a Euronics agent. After a three-year break, it felt great to be back and we look forward to welcoming suppliers and members to next year’s Showcase.”
