ERT Reader Survey Results

ERT Survey

ERT has been the number one source of information for the electrical retailing industry since 1890 and our recent reader survey shows that ERT and ERTonline.co.uk are more important than ever.

While the industry is changing – and changing rapidly – ERT has maintained its status as the most reliable and incisive publication in the market.

Stephen Blakebrough, ERT’s group publishing manager, said: “We recently ran a reader survey to find out what retailers honestly think about our products and services. These results highlight the key factors that make ERT magazine the most invaluable source of information for the electrical industry.”

Headline findings from our survey reveal that:

  • A massive 94 per cent of readers said that they always read
    every issue of ERT
  • 82 per cent said that ERT helped them to make business decisions.
  • 72 per cent of respondents said they were more likely to recommend a product to a customer if they had read about it.
  • 73 per cent said they had requested more information about a product featured in ERT in the past 12 months.

ERT’s web portal, ERTonline.co.uk, is the leading online news service in the electrical retailing market.
Updated several times a day by our experienced team of journalists, the website provides daily breaking news, industry comments, jobs and video news footage from all the major trade events.

  • Some 67 per cent of readers use ERT’s website regularly compared with our direct competitors.
  • More than 40 per cent visit ERTonline.co.uk every single week
  • 90 per cent said they found the weekly e-newsletter useful.

ERT and ERTonline.co.uk remain committed to our industry. Going forward, we guarantee that our news coverage will continue to be just as hard-hitting and comprehensive as it has always been, while our in-depth features will continue to analyse all mainstream areas, plus some new ones.

ERT and ERTonline.co.uk continue to lead the way.
