HOW WILL THE ENTRIES BE JUDGED?
After the closing date, the judging process begins. Our judging panel of industry experts narrows all the entries down to a shortlist of finalists.
Every retailer who enters the awards will immediately be considered for the Independent Electrical Retailer of the Year category.
Our expert panel of judges will then decide which other category – or categories – retailers should be put forward for, based on the supporting evidence and material provided with the entry
The judges will study every submission, looking for indicators of excellence that have counted towards the overall success of the business or the product they represent. They will then draw up a shortlist.
The judges’ decision is final and all those making the shortlist will be contacted by the end of September.
WHEN WILL THE ENTRIES BE JUDGED?
Judging will take place in late September 2011
WHEN ARE THE WINNERS ANNOUNCED?
All the finalists are invited to the lunchtime event, which will take place on November 7 at The Commonwealth Club, London. The winners are announced with the traditional opening of an envelope.
WHO WILL JUDGE THE ENTRIES?
The judging panel will consist of senior industry professionals and other experts within their fields. All the judges will have the knowledge, experience and expertise to assess each entry on its merits.
