DTG Testing receives test accolade | Back |

DTG Testing, the test arm of the Digital TV Group (DTG), has been given the first ever accreditation for testing digital terrestrial TV receivers by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS).
DTG Testing has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, the international standard for laboratory testing.
"UKAS accreditation is an instantly recognisable and internationally understood mechanism for demonstrating that our customers can have confidence in the quality of our test and conformance regimes,” said DTG director-general Richard Lindsay-Davies.
“DTG Testing is delighted to be the first ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 accredited laboratory for digital terrestrial television conformance,” he said. “This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing world-leading test and conformance regimes for the digital television industry."
The DTG is responsible for controlling and maintaining the specification for interoperability requirements for digital terrestrial television (DTT) in the UK, known as the D-Book.
DTG Testing provides test and conformance for the UK's Digital Switchover Certification Mark (the Digital Tick) and the Freeview, Freeview HD and Freesat trademarks, as well as for international platforms.
