MY SHOP STARTED trading in January 1935, so we are now into our 77th year. And what a year this last one has been.  

IT IS A sad reflection on the state of our trade that Best Buy is closing down its UK superstores and Comet has been sold for £2 and apparently given a guarantee of at least another 18 months of life.
