Galaxy Tab for web

Samsung has plans to release a new Galaxy tablet next month, which will boast an 11.6in screen, according to recent press reports.

Much larger than the current 10.1in screen of the current Samsung tablet, German tech site Tab Tech has claimed that the new tab will be officially announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The new Galaxy Tab is reported to come with Android 4.0, the latest operating system from Google, and would make for a very fast tablet and with the largest screen of any yet. It is reported to have a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, with a 2GHz Exynos 5250 dual-core ARM chip, and the Android 4.0 is reported be the best mobile web browser yet.

This is the latest in the battle for supremacy between Apple and Samsung and is set to continue with Apple expected to launch a new iPad 2 in March, running a display with a pixel resolution 2,048 x 1,536.
