Euronics Trade Show

The Euronics Trade Show, due to run at the NEC in Birmingham from April 22-23, has sold out.

“For the first time ever, the Euronics Trade Show will take place in the Spring and we feel that holding this flagship event closer to product launches will give suppliers a prime opportunity to showcase our members with many new products and technologies," said CIH chief executive Stuart Cook.

He added: “The show will give suppliers the prospect to reach not only their existing members, but also the potential of extending their ranging by offering members display stocking plans and launch deals.”

Mr Cook revealed that the 35 suppliers attending the event have been challenged by CIH to create theatre on their stands. As a result, there will be cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs - for instance, Electrolux reported that top chef Gino D’Acampo will be on its stand on April 23 from 11am-2pm.

Potential new CIH members have been invited to the show and Mr Cook pointed out that independents interested in joining the buying group should contact Geoff Woodman, former field sales director of the Indesit Company, who is responsible for introducing new dealers to CIH. He can be reached by email at mailto:enquiries@virtualanswer.co.uk.

“Dealers that are interested in joining CIH should email Mr Woodman and visit the trade show to get an insight into the group,” said Mr Cook.

“Come and visit us at the trade show; meet the suppliers and the CIH team; and see what being part of the UK’s leading buying and marketing group is all about.”
