Smeg: for England and St George
20 May 2010

SMEG is waving the flag with the FAB28QSG refrigerator emblazoned with the cross of England’s patron saint, St George.

The company has produced a limited edition of this £900 model for sports fans who will be following England’s fortunes this summer in the Fifa football World Cup, at the Wimbledon tennis tournament or in the World Twenty20 cricket championships.

“Following increased popularity and customer interest in Smeg’s existing range of special edition refrigerators, including the matt velvet, colour stripe, Union Jack and Italian flag designs, we are delighted to be launching the England flag FAB28 refrigerator,” said Smeg brand manager Cally Elston.

“With the World Cup nearly upon us, we foresee this being a popular choice for retailers this summer, especially as the fridge will look great as part of window and in-store displays.”

The A+ rated refrigerator has a gross capacity of 256 litres with three adjustable glass shelves, a fruit and vegetable compartment, covered storage box and a chrome wine rack.

Smeg also offers the £700 600mm wide FAB 10 drinks refrigerator, which has a gross capacity of 120 litres.
