| Sky to demonstrate 3D TV at 100 shopping centres | |
| 08 March 2010 Sky has chosen London’s Westfield shopping centre for the first in a series of public demonstrations of 3D TV in 100 shopping centres across the UK over the next 12 months. The demonstration will take place on March 12 and, according to entertainment website Digital Spy, will include content produced by Sky during the past two years. This is reported to include Arsenal’s game against Manchester United plus a mix of other sports as well as music, dance and, of course, movies. Visitors will be given polarising glasses to watch the 3D event and will have a chance to enter a competition for a 3D-ready TV, a Sky+HD box and a subscription to Sky’s top tier entertainment package. Sky’s 3D channel will launch in selected pubs next month and be available to subscribers later in the year, Digital Spy reported. | |
