| Onkyo joins BADA | |
| 04 March 2010 Onkyo is the latest brown-goods company to join the growing list of associate members of the British Audio-Visual Dealers Association (BADA). Onkyo has already confirmed its support of BADA training initiatives to improve standards of product demonstration, sales professionalism, marketing and customer service in the independent retail sector. “The approach made to BADA by Onkyo for membership underlines and endorses the work we are doing to help the industry raise its standards in the face of tough competition,” said BADA chairman Simon Byles. At Onkyo UK, general manager David Anderson said: “Our wish to join BADA underlines the long term business strategy to introduce high quality audio visual products to the UK market. “We have always considered knowledgeable shop sales staff vital to the success of any business in the specialist sector, and are therefore delighted to support the association’s training initiatives. “We look forward to working with BADA and its trainers for the long term benefit of the industry.” | |
