| Asda and Tesco selling second-hand games | |
| 25 February 2010 Supermarket giants Asda and Tesco have started selling pre-owned video games in some of their stores, according to a report on the website of gaming sector magazine MCV. It revealed that Asda started trialling selling pre-owned games at its Living store in Leeds on Monday. The website also found that Tesco had actually begun trials of pre-owned games at its store in Pitsea, Basildon, and has since been rolled out into other outlets. It pointed out that both store groups were selling second-hand games and allowing customers to trade in their old ones - a part of the business that had previously been the preserve of specialist games retailers. | |
