GORENJE claims its 7kg condenser tumble dryer, the D72325/BK, uses hi-tech electronics to achieve its class-leading B energy rating.

This machine is said to achieve a 13 per cent energy saving over existing C-rated models.

Its large capacity and delayed start option mean that users can dry a large amount of washing while taking advantage of less expensive energy tariffs.

Electronic controls, an LED program indicator and the options of sensor or timed drying are among details for this machine.

It offers 12 programs, including three for synthetics, five for cottons and one for mixed fabrics. There is also a 20-minute refresh program for freshening clothes and the drum is illuminated to help ensure that no items are left behind.

There is also an anti-crease option at the end of the drying program.

The machine, which is available in white or black livery and measures 600 x 850 x 600mm (W x H x D), can be stacked on top of a washer using an appropriate stacking kit and can also be plumbed in.

It has a front-mounted filter for easy access and an electronic service diagnostic system that allows for a quick diagnosis when a service call is required.

Retail price is expected to be between £350 and £400, including a two-year parts-and-labour guarantee.
