| Longer-lasting crema from Polti | |
| 21 January 2010 POLTI’S @Espresso Suprema coffee maker is said to use a patented Crema Express system that forces water to stay in the capsule for a few seconds to increase flavour. Pressure and the micro-injection of air while the coffee is being dispensed is also said to enhance the aroma and create thick, long-lasting crema. Details include a 19-bar pump, a removable drip tray that also houses used capsules, a removable transparent 850cc water tank, and a back-lit coffee dispensing button. There are indicator lights warning when the machine is out of water and switched on. There is also a compartment for regular espresso cups and 110mm tall mugs in a machine that measures 220mm x 260mm x 320mm (WxHxD). This £149.99 model, which only works with AromaPolti capsules, is made in Italy and is finished in black. It is supplied with a recipe book, a milk frother, 24 coffee capsules (six each of coffee blends Crema, Elisir, Sublime and Deca), 12 hot beverage capsules and 12 sugar sachets of white and cane sugar.
