| Panasonic to tour UK with 3D roadshow | |
| 01 October 2009 Panasonic will this month kick off its Full High Definition (HD) 3D roadshow in the UK. According to the manufacturer, the roadshow, which will call at 10 locations across England, is designed to showcase the exciting possibilities of the 3D experience directly to consumers. Three mobile Full HD 3D theatres will visit shopping malls and other locations, giving consumers a preview of the 3D content that is available as well as the technology that Panasonic is developing to bring Full HD 3D programming to the home. Panasonic will also demonstrate the latest in its Neo PDP Full HD TV technology, and Viera Cast, which enables the streaming of HD content from the internet onto the television screen. Keith Evans, Panasonic’s managing director, said: “3D television will be an entirely new experience for consumers, and we are really looking forward to getting out there and showcasing the future of home entertainment directly to the general public. “By visiting so many cities, we hope to engage with consumers from across the country and demonstrate not only the potential of these technologies but also the incredible 3D content that is being created.” The Panasonic roadshow will call at: | |
